Updates!

So, I am gonna give lots of updates in this post. So, here we go. Eli, Lucas and I went to the Shatto Dairy farm for a tour a few weeks ago and had a lot of fun. They saw the pics from when Noah and Jordan went for their Nana/Papa adventure - and have been asking ever since to take their own tour. So, here are some pics.
What to buy?

The new milk bar!

A baby cow.

A milking we will go . . . .

It was cool to see all the equipment and learn how they make all the flavors. But really all the boys wanted was to sample the milk.

So, my nephew Tyler had a birthday at the beginning of August and we had a little mini day of celebration with him. We had a sleep over with both Trevor and Tyler and then just spent the day playing and it was nice for the boys to just spend the day with their cousins. I think my boys were in a little withdrawl from vacation where they had cousins around all the time.

Birthday boy!

Trevor really loves the boys' DS. Maybe he should put one on his Wish List.

Bath time!

Everyone loves Nana's house since their is always something yummy dessert! It was homemade ice cream with oreos!

Story time!

Before it got too hot, the boys went outside to play on the bikes. When it started to sprinkle, we took it to the garage.

Tyler asked for me to make him a birthday cake and I was happy to make him a Cars 2 cake. Noah was putting the finishing touches on the cake.

Party hats on!

Tyler couldn't wait till cake time!

Cake was a hit! And Trevor was very happy that there was some leftover and it was gonna stay at his house. Now, rumor has it that his mom may not have shared any of the leftover cake. But who knows!

Tyler also had a bday party at Nana's house!

More cake time!

Had to take a pic of the inside of the cake. Jen made this cake and did a great job!

So, the boys are back in school.

-Noah is in Middle school and is trying to adjust to 7 classes with 7 teachers. He is trying out doubling up in band this year - playing both clarinet and saxophone. He is planning on auditioning for Jazz band this year. He is goning to try out for the fall play and may join intermural sports after this winter. He is meeting new friends and enjoying the changes.

-Eli is in 6th grade and enjoying being top dog this year. He doesn't have the same teacher that Noah had last year but said he liked both teachers - so he would be happy with either 6th grade teacher. He decided to go back to the cello this year. He will be doing library club again this year and is trying to decide if there are any other activities that he is interested in.

-Lucas is excited about 3rd grade. Eli's 5th grade teacher moved to 3rd grade and Lucas is thrilled that she is now his teacher. His classroom is now upstairs, he is growing up so fast! He is starting voilin lessons this week and karate in a few weeks.

The boys and I are going to be very busy but I will try to do a little better with updating. Have a great week!

Yay for an update! And no...I did NOT eat all the leftover cake! The Ts had several pieces, but I finished it up. :)
